Blackberry Cobbler

Blackberries - 6 cups

Quick Oatmeal -  1 1/2 cups

Flour - 1 cup

Butter -  1 1/2 cube

Brown Sugar - 1 1/2 cups packed

Parmesan Cheese - 1/2 grated




Spread blackberries in a 7 x 11" pan that has been buttered on the bottom


Mix oatmeal, flour, cheese, brown sugar and butter in a bowl, until crumbly


Sprinkle over berries


Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.


The cheese gives a nutty flavor to the cobbler, you can omit this if you would rater.


NOTE:  I add 1 Tbsp flour & 1/2 cup sugar to the berries.


This is a recipe my 93 year old Mother made all the time for the Grange!
